The Sustainable Energy Forum for East Africa, 19-21 March 2018, Kigali Rwanda

The Forum is being organized by the East African Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (EACREEE), in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the EAC Secretariat, the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), Sustainable Energy For All (SEforALL) and the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Rwanda (MININFRA).

The main purpose of the Forum is to promote exchange of ideas and cooperation to support the acceleration of sustainable solutions to the region’s energy situation. The Forum will bring together relevant stakeholders to enable discussions on the strategies to harmonize renewable energy and efficient energy (RE & EE) policies, to upscale financing in RE & EE projects and technologies, to exchange knowledge and experiences, and to inform about regional programmes.
