Renewable Energy Market Activation Day – Lwengo District

In a bid to increase access to renewable energy technologies in Uganda, awareness creation is required to inform the end users and general public about the various technologies that exist in the market, benefits and possible modes of acquisition. UNREEEA and EnDev (Cooking and Solar) team in partnership with St. Ludovic Foundation Organisation (SLUFO) are organizing an open day market activation event in central part of Uganda, in Lwengo district, approximately 200 km from Kampala. The event is scheduled to take place on 7th October 2022, in Kyazanga trading centre along Kampala Mbarara Road.

UNREEEA would therefore like to invite you our dear esteemed members to participate in this event to showcase and sale your products at this event as we create awareness on clean cooking and solar technologies.

Our partner, GIZ through the EnDev program has offered a truck to transport products of at few interested companies. Space availability on the truck is based on First Come First Serve principle. Therefore, any interested company is encouraged to register as soon as possible to book space on the truck. Note, the truck is only reserved for products, company staff should find their way/alternative means to Kyazanga town.
